For the first adventure in this Adventure-a-Day lark, let’s count “The End of the Road Trip (so far)”.
We drove from Swift Current, Saskatchewan to Calgary today.
Since I was the driver and under strict orders to DRIVE, I didn’t take any pictures. So let us look back to yesterday and fondly reminisce about our moment of glory beside the giant moose in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. He lingers in his little fenced yard near the Prairie Oasis at the east end of Moose Jaw. You have to leave the Trans-Canada to see him up close, but you are rewarded amply for that.
There’s a Snowbird plane on a stick right beside the moose, and within spitting distance, a Tim Horton’s.
Don’t say it.
Ok, say it.
How very Canadian!
