Getting ready for London

I’m very excited to have a trip to London coming up.

I’m going to get a London Pass, which is advertised as giving free admission to about 80 attractions. My pass is good for 10 consecutive days. I had one in 2012 or so, and by the end of the 6 days, I was worn out, so I thought I’d try a longer stretch this time.

Now I have the pleasant task of figuring out which of the 80 things I should see.

I think this calls for a spreadsheet. Hmmm. Ideas welcome.

Why not list what you haven’t seen? Any suggestions I could make you’ve probably already seen! But I’d like to see any William Morris sites, pre-Raphaelite painting exhibits, and then maybe a food tour…

Jill, I know this is trite, but I would love to get your views on the best high tea in London. I believe you did a post on this topic a while ago, I’ll be interested to learn whether you’ve found some place even better. I love high tea and try to catch one where ever I go. So far I’ve done tea in London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Budapest, Prague, Ottawa, Banff, Victoria, Calgary and on a plane flying into London after our Budapest trip (which had the best scones ever!)

Thanks, Susan. Not trite at all! Great idea and an assignment I am pretty happy to take on. (Smiling as I think of the pleasures to come.)

Thanks for stopping by. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this post or anything else on this website.
