Pac-Man on the Lawn at Hampton Court Palace: Adventure-a-Day #27

With considerable care and delicacy, the arborists of Hampton Court keep the trees in shape. The shape they use for some of the yew trees makes me smile.

A giant softly pyramidal yew tree appears to be gliding across the lawn chasing some trees and some people

All right, am I crazy, or does this big dark green tree look like one of the ghosts in Pac-Man? Deedle dee deedle dee!

Disclosure: I had this adventure on September 28, 2012 at Hampton Court Palace, just like Adventure #26. I was of sound mind at the time. I paid my own way. In fact, I bought an annual membership to Historic Royal Palaces so I could go back again and again. If you only want to see the gardens and not the palace, it costs less and some of it is free.
